Meet Oral Surgeon Dr. Jungbluth

Dr. Perrin Jungbluth is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon in St. Joseph, MO. Originally from Bloomington, Minnesota, Dr. Jungbluth moved to St. Joseph in 2005 with his wife and children. Here, he began a full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery practice, where he provides patient consultation, and various outpatient procedures and surgeries. Dr. Jungbluth also holds privileges at Mosaic Life Care, where he cares for patients and provides hospital surgery when hospital services are indicated.

Dr. Jungbluth attended Creighton University in Omaha, NE for undergraduate studies, earning bachelor degrees in Biology and Environmental Science. While there, he played soccer on the Creighton Men’s Soccer team. He then attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, graduating with honors and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. For the following six years, Dr. Jungbluth attended UMKC School of Medicine, earning his M.D., and simultaneously completing his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Specialty Residency. Dr. Jungbluth returned to academia as the Oral Surgery Residency Program Director, where he instructed students and residents at Truman Medical center and Children’s Mercy Hospitals for several years. Today, he continues to enjoy private practice at Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery of St. Joseph.
